Because of strict limits to the number of people that are allowed in church due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, there will be no Remembrance Day service in church this year. We have been, over recent Sundays, close to the maximum number of people allowed in church for a Sunday service.
Therefore, to adhere to the guidelines, we will invite four representatives from the Parish, District and County councils, as well as a representative from the Royal British Legion, to our regular Sunday service on November 8th, in which we will “remember” those who gave their lives in time of war.
At the same time, there will be no public gathering at the cenotaph at 11:00am, again because of the risk of spreading the Coronavirus and to keep the people of the village safe.”
