Corinne O’Donnell, landlady of The Olde Peculiar free house in Handsacre is being joined by some of her local friends and pub regulars to walk the 51km route over 5-days.

Starting at an altitude of 3,330m in the Inca Capital of Cusco in the Andes Mountains, Corinne and the rest of the team, Kelly Williams, Laura Parker and Gareth Hancox will walk a trail encompassing 3 high mountain passes.

Most have chosen to raise money for charities close to their hearts, with Corinne raising money for MDS UK supporting patients with Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Kelly walking for Alzheimer Research UK and Gareth fundraising for Lichfield-based charity, The Stan Bowley Trust.  Laura has been supporting the fundraising for all three charities.
