The first half of the autumn term was a busy one. We welcomed 10 new Brownies and said a sad goodbye to 8 girls moving on to guides. The girls have had a chance to try bowling with the assistance of the members of the Armitage with Handsacre Bowls Club. Thank you to them all, the girls really enjoyed their evening.
We held a wear pink fundraising evening for breast cancer awareness day with face painting, temporary tattoos, decorating biscuits and lots of lovely cakes. Even the sky painted itself pink to join in the fun. We raised £50.00. In the second half of the term we will be starting our Christmas crafts, making decorations for both the village Christmas tree festival and a Christmas tree to be displayed in St Augustines Church in Rugeley.
We have also been working towards our toymaker badge and will be completing it this term by having a puppet show using the puppets they have made. On the 16th November we raised £50.00 for Children in Need by having a pyjama party, face painting, games and activities. We were also very proud to attend the Rembrance Sunday service and parade.
