Lichfield District Council’s visitor economy team, Visit Lichfield, has put the finishing touches to its new What’s On brochure, and it is now available online and at heritage venues across the district, including St Mary’s. With listings from September through to the end of December, it’s the perfect resource to help you plan what you will be doing for Halloween and Bonfire Night and in the run up to Christmas.

City venues are planning a huge range of exciting events, including at Beacon Park, Lichfield Cathedral, Erasmus Darwin House, Lichfield’s Guildhall, the Lichfield Garrick and many more. The brochure also lists events that are taking place at venues across the district, such as Drayton Manor Theme Park, the National Memorial Arboretum and The Staffordshire Regiment Museum, as well as Burntwood and Chasetown centres.

Councillor Iain Eadie, Cabinet Member for Investment, Economic Growth & Tourism, said: “It is great to see the new What’s On events calendar hitting the shelf, as it helps local people and visitors to see all the fantastic local events that are taking place.

“There is plenty going on across the district this autumn and Christmas, from Halloween storytelling and firework displays, to festive carol concerts, shows and markets. Don’t forget to pick up your copy of What’s On so you don’t miss out on any of the events and activities on offer.”

What’s On brochures are available at Tourist Information in St Mary’s in the Market Square and other visitor attractions. You can also download a copy from www.visitlichfield.co.uk/download or see online events listings at www.visitlichfield.co.uk/events
