Alrewas Arboretum, Lichfield Cathedral and Cannock Chase woodlands are all within easy reach.Our busy kitchen serves a wide variety of home made dishes including fresh baked pies and steaks or a scrumptious mixed grill with meat supplied by locally renowned butcher, Coles. Food & DRINK
You can enjoy delicious homemade food in a traditional and welcoming setting. Try our homemade traditional pies including Steak & Kidney and Beef & Mushroom.
We have a selection of fish dishes such as sizzling King Prawns in Garlic and Chilli, poached Smoked Haddock and Fillet of Salmon with Lemon and Dill Sauce. We also cater for vegetarians and have a wide variety of choice such as Roasted Vegetable and Wensleydale Bake and Creamy Broccoli and Potato Bake.
Most of our ingredients our sourced from local suppliers, and where we can, we support local businesses.
Bed & BREAKFAST
The Olde Peculiar offers a comfortable family room and 2 twin rooms. Prices include full English breakfast. Please see rates below. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms and include tea and coffee making facilities and are non-smoking.
Family room consists of a general lounge area where the settee can double up as a sofa-bed, bathroom with shower, double bedroom and a separate single bedroom. Access is only available via stairs. Both twin rooms are accessible from the ground floor.
